Your Journey
A personalised, multi-week discipleship pathway tailored to where you are in your faith. Reading, reflection, and prayer, one day at a time.
What this screen is for
Your Journey is North Star's longer-form discipleship — a guided pathway that walks with you week by week. Where the devotional is a daily verse, your journey is a deeper arc: a beginning, a middle, and an end, shaped around your faith stage and the season you're in.
You pick a pathway once. After that, the home screen shows you the next step each day.
Picking a journey
If you haven't started one yet, the journey screen will ask a few questions:
- Where are you on your faith journey? — New believer · Growing believer · Returning to faith · Mature in faith
- What do you want to focus on? — prayer, scripture, discipleship, etc.
- How much time do you have? — short / medium / long sessions
From your answers, North Star recommends a pathway. You can:
- Use the recommendation — start straight away
- Browse pathways — pick your own from the full list
What a day in a journey looks like
Each day's step usually has:
- A scripture passage to read
- A reflection on it
- A prayer
- A journal prompt (optional)
Days are short on purpose — most take 10–15 minutes.
Working through the journey
Tap a day to open it. When you finish, tap Mark complete. Your home screen will then offer the next day tomorrow.
You can:
- Skip a day — it stays available, you just move on
- Go back — tap any past day to re-read it
- Pause — close the app, come back days or weeks later, your place is saved
