Highlights

Every verse you've highlighted, in your chosen colours — a personal anthology of the verses that matter to you.

What this screen is for

When you tap Highlight on a verse in the Bible Reader, you pick a colour and the verse is marked from then on — wherever you see it again it'll be coloured. This screen lists every verse you've ever highlighted, with the colours you used.

You open it from Profile → My Highlights.

What's on the screen

Sort

  • Recent — newest first
  • By book — grouped Genesis → Revelation

Each highlight

A card showing:

  • The verse reference
  • The verse text in full
  • A colour stripe down the side matching your highlight colour
  • When you highlighted it

Tap a card to open the verse in the Bible Reader.

Change or remove a highlight

Open the verse, tap it again, and pick a different colour — or tap the same colour to clear the highlight.

The colour palette

The colours have rough meanings you can choose to follow (or ignore):

  • Gold — promises and praise
  • Blue — comfort
  • Green — growth / promises
  • Purple — prayer
  • Coral — challenge / conviction
  • Grey — to revisit

There's no rulebook — pick whatever makes sense to you.

Common questions

Q: Can I have multiple colours on one verse? No — one colour per verse. Picking a new colour replaces the old one.

Q: Can I search highlights? Yes — the search bar searches the verse text.

Q: If I switch translation, do highlights still show? Yes — highlights are tied to the verse, so they appear in any translation.

Q: Can I share my highlights with a friend? Long-press any highlight to share — or use the Image action on the verse to make a verse card.
